Mineral Foundation

HUES mineral foundation is made with skin-loving minerals, completely free of harsh chemicals and skin irritants such as talc, bismuth oxychloride, parabens, petroleum-based dyes, petrochemicals, and alcohol. It is extremely gentle and soothing on the skin, with natural ingredients for UV protection. Its light-reflecting, silky smooth powders help diminish appearance of pores, blemishes and fine lines.

Coverage is subtle, yet buildable if applied in several layers. Mineral foundation is so light-weight, it flatters your skin while allowing it to breathe, without the heavy-mask effect of traditional foundation.

Mica	Mica is a natural mineral which has light-reflecting properties that helps to reduce appearance of blemishes, pores and wrinkles.
Zinc Oxide	Produced from naturally occurring zinc ore. Cosmetic-grade zinc oxide is known to have anti-inflammatory properties and offers broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection.
Titanium Dioxide	White pigment, derived from the naturally occurring mineral ilmenite. Titanium dioxide is used in our foundation as a whitening pigment, but is also known to offer skin protection against harmful UV rays.
Magnesium Myristate	Fine white powder that improves spreadability and adhesion for loose mineral powders.
Silica	Natural mineral that is good in oil-absorbing. Provides a smooth and silky texture, creating a soft-focus, flawless finish.
Calcium Carbonate (only in Silky Radiance range)	Oil-absorbent powder that keeps shine at bay.
Tocopheryl Acetate (only in Soft Radiance range)	Vitamin E, contains antioxidant and moisturizing effects.
Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (only in Soft Radiance range)	Non-greasy and non-comedogenic emollient oil that softens and improves glide of the powders. Also known as Fractionated Coconut Oil.
Iron Oxides & Ultramarines	Cosmetic-grade color pigments.

Before applying foundation, prep your skin well with your usual skincare routine - Cleanse, Tone, Moisturise, and not forgetting Sunblock for UV protection.
Tap a small amount of foundation onto the jar lid.
Swirl your brush on the jar lid to pick up the powders evenly (We recommend using the Flat Top Brush for an even coverage).
Buff foundation on the skin in circular motions.
Apply in light sheer layers until desired coverage is achieved.
